The craziest thing about covid for your life is that you had a crazy growth spurt, your voice is low, and you're proud of your hairy armpits. For the record - your growth spurt sent you from being shorter than me to being less than an inch from passing dad while we've been in quarantine.
You still love baseball. You still love video games. You still love and need time with your friends. You're trying to make the best of life during a pandemic but it's wearing you down, for sure. It's wearing us all down.
You're starting to think about what you'll do for a car when you're 16. You've told me you plan to move out for college. And you've also mentioned that you plan to live in a small apartment because you like things simple. I feel the same way and I love that we have that in common.
Fourteen is old. Thankfully you are awesome and I feel like you're ready to take on the next phase of life like a champ. Just remember, you're never too old to need your mom!! Love you.
PS. You're back to growing your hair out. It's amazing.
